Dream a Little, Dream a Lot!!

So I have been thinking of things to make, or quilted items to make, seeing what is out there for fabric, I just love these, they are so cute!! The line is called Coffee House by Timeless Treasures. Now if only I can find them at a local shop. I would LOVE to make maybe some potholders, maybe a tablerunner, or even a nice apron. who knows, but I know i am in love with this line!!

Been Busy......Again!!

I have been borrowing my husband's leather tri-fold wallet for a while now, I bought it for him a long time ago. He is still not ready to part with his first one I bought him, mind you the one I have been using is the same thing, just new, and the old one is well,, falling apart, it's been washed, painted, etc. it's time for him to rip. One of these nights I am going to have to just switch it up. Yesterday while I was home with the kids, I made myself a new one. I have made one of these before and it was shameful, so I gave it to my daughter. This time came out awesome!!! I used some sheep fabric that I ordered from Japan. I would like to make a new bag to match it. maybe that can be my project for today. I will be sure to post pics if I do. Also, head on over to my daughter's blog, and see her skirt we also completed!!

What I have been working on.......

I have been busy crafting lately. I finished this small quilt, maybe a doll quilt. I have been practicing free motion quilting with it and I am not having much luck, my thread keeps snapping. I got extremely bored with the pattern and was not crazy about the colors together so I ended it here.

Below is my first square of the Enduring Elegance Quilt in the new issue of McCall's Quilting, which I just recently found. I love this magazine. This quilt is the one featured on the cover. Can you say LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT????? It is designed by Lissa Alexander. (I believe it's her..) I bought some Asian prints that I have been oogling for quite some time. I cannot wait to see it completed.

Also I just completed a new bag that I listed in my Etsy shop!!
