Sacrafices Moms Make

Well, during the last week of school almost two weeks ago, my youngest daughter came home from school with head lice. Now, all I know about it, is that is a pain in the a**, and you gotta get rid of it. Well, we treated her hair, we checked everybody else. We brought the bedding to the laundromat, we put all the stuffed animals in black bags for the next four weeks, and we cut her hair short to her chin, then we checked her hair every couple of days..........We treated her hair again, and checked everybody else..........waited a couple more days, they came back. After checking and treating and combing and treating and combing, they were still here. So we treated again, checked her sister, now they were in her hair (we found about a hundred nits when we combed through her hair when it was only 3/4" long. So, we had to do something drastic. We shaved their hair. Both my little beautiful girls have no hair anymore. So, what did mom do? (in case you are wondering, I do not have it.) But I did shave my hair also. Yes, the hair that was halfway down my back. Thank God I have a wonderful husband whom loves us dearly, Well, here goes, are we not a couple of beautiful ladies? I will show some before pictures, and then some after. I told them they are beautiful, and that hair is hair. It will grow back. So please, if you come across this, leave them a comment on how beautiful YOU think they are, I am going to show them. Thanks.

So the boys and I went to the fiber frolic yesterday and had a blast! They were not feeling well so we did not stay long but I was able to get two BFL Rovings and a hank of Romney. Check out my Ravelry stash and you will see. The pics of the animals Simon had to have me take!

Full Bag Picture, and some Spinning Progress!!

So, here is the full bag pic I promised. Also some pics of my second spinning attempt ever! I am proud of myself. I just wish I could spin more but with four kids, that time is limited. Maybe when the baby gets a little older. I have been taking care of sick boys, hopefully they will feel better soon! That's all for now, Be Safe!

Another Bag, more Fabric, more bags to come!

Well, I finished my new knitting bag, it is the brown quilted bag with cream interior, oh and did I forget to mention the sheep on it??? I did not realize until now that I did not take a full picture, so I will do that soon. Until then I will add the pics I already taken.

I also have some cool green fabric that I am unsure of what to do with.
The other two pics are material for my daughters bags that I am making them for their birthdays this year. I am so excited! They like bags as much as I do. So it is very fun making for them also.

I am going to the Fiber Frolic this Saturday with my boys. I will make sure to post pics and stuff when I come home. Have a good week, I need to take care of my sick boys. Hopefully they will be feeling better by then.
