Bee Inspired Blocks and a Beautiful Gift

So first off, are two blocks for John for our Bee Inspired Quilting Bee. After that are some charm packs that i received in the mail yesterday from Monica. She said she would send me some fabric, but I had no idea. She also sent two quilt patterns that she designed herself. Totally beautiful!! There is also a picture in this post of my new pocket book that I made, I love it, it's small and has long straps, it will be awesome to have at the fairs this season!!

Searching

Ok, everyone!! I know there are some thrifty crafty people out there. I am searching for one of these Moda tins, but to be honest, NOT a funky monkey one. I am not that crazy about these. If anyone has one of these lunch box tins floating around or taking up space in their closet, I would love to take it off your hands. As long as the price is reasonable. I have been searching for one, but i can only find this one pictured below, and would rather not have that one. but if i cannot find one with a different design, then yes, i will have to get that one. My First Quilt

Ok, so Camille and Carrie are hosting a parade of first quilts. These pictures of my quilt are my first, I love this quilt. My only issue is I wish I would have made it bigger. There are some flaws, but not many, which is surprisingly!! I love this and will NEVER get rid of it!! I am currently working on my second quilt, and hopefully by Monday I can have it finished and pictures posted. I hope you enjoy, and Thank you for visiting my blog!!!
ETA: I just finished my second quilt top. I need to get some batting and some more of the blue flower for the backing. I am making this for my grandmother, to let her know that even though I live away, that I love her and miss her. And she can wrap up in my love. I know, tacky, but true.
