What a Deal!!

Unfortunately I cannot participate in Pat Sloan's Secret Garden Quilt kit and sew along. Due to circumstances. I was able to however spend my first downpayment money cuz I have not spent money. I got a half yard of each except for a couple of fat quarters. I got a few with orange in it for when I do Pat Sloan's OP weekend in February. The picture top left are Asian prints. Then there are batiks, and a cute safari one that the colors mesmerized me. The far bottom one on the right is European Ave Line. I also was intrigued by the colors.

Chain of Friends

On Ravelry I am a member of a quilting group and we are doing a block exchange. We are making 8 blocks each of the Chain of Friends Quilt. As you can see from the picture above in my title of my blog that I have only completed one quilt and it was with 4" squares, very basic, so hopefully minor errors. Well, I just completed my first block for this swap and I am ecstatic!! So I uploaded a picture for you all to see!! I am so proud of myself. Have a nice night!!

Christmas Fabric

Anyone here tired of looking at their Christmas fabric??? I am looking for scraps, or fat quarters of Christmas themed colors of fabric for a project that I am going to start working on, if you have some that you are looking to throw away or donate, I would love to take it off your hands.
